This stainless steel bottle coaster has exterior wrap in cork. 

There is no coating on the cork, instead cork is a unique product in that it can get wet and be cleaned.  Keeping this wine coaster clean can be easy when you regularly remove surface dirt and dust, wash it with mild soap or vinegar, scrub it to remove stains, and maintain it.
